Leveraged expertise and experience as a staff senior technical writer, editor, and analyst for internal cyber security and IT projects and as led with best practices as a technical writing consultant to Fortune 500 clients. Played an active role during global marketing activities as the creator of new, engaging cybersecurity presentation materials, including technical research, white papers, e-books, and brochures with a specific focus in cybersecurity, GRC, IT, and engineering. • Spearheaded the end-to-end conversion of a top search and cloud PaaS provider’s antiquated help system to a modern, interactive markdown system, the scope of which involved hundreds of help topics, learning new technologies (including Kubernetes, cloud storage, SQL, databases, JSON, and APIs), writing and verifying basic code sample functionality in languages including Go, .Net, Java, and Python. • Led the successful development of a series of complex, in-depth user guides for an industry leading IT document ingestion, indexing, and analysis provider which from installation to artfully and intraoperatively using a suite of Linux tools to ingest logs and deliver analytics for specific customer scenarios.

Played an active role as a member of team authoring help assets for RecTrac software (including mouse-over help, full-page help, Topic Documents, and PDFs) in a fast-paced, SCRUM/AGILE team environment in the Software R&D department. • Utilized a wide range of tools during daily activities including Atlassian Jira and Confluence and wrote content embedded within JSONs and rendered by the app’s UX. • Took the initiative to write the new company’s new writing style and voice guide to ensure consistency among different writers and across departments.

Worked for Amadeus (formerly Newmarket International), authoring online help, release notes, and user guides for EnterEnterprise-level, SaaS software within the hospitality and catering space. Responsible for documentation in multiple Agile teams. Lead author for the iPlan and MeetingBroker online help.

Sole author of Computer Resources, LLC's (now Focus School Software) online help, manuals, getting started guides, and release notes within the K-12 education space. I wore many hats at this then 25-person company, assisting with marketing's advertisements and website, contributing to Development's user interface initiatives, and leading in the Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) project.
